What is The Promise? This is a workshop, hosted by the Speed and artist Roberto Vasani, that reflects on guns and gun violence within the Black community in Louisville and beyond.  

What is an iron pour? This is a chance to learn about the iron cast process and learn how molten metal is poured into molds to create sculptures. The public is also invited to create their own cast iron art by purchasing a scratch block to be carved and cast during the pour.
