Mixed Media Collage – inspired by Current Speed: Kathia St. Hilarie – Invisible Empires

Lance “Mr. SpreadLove” Newman will guide participants in a poetic reflection meant to engage the poignant exhibit by Kathia St. Hilaire. Using various paper materials, participants will create an art piece around the themes presented by St. Hilaire’s work. Themes ranging from the historical and violent to feminine and ethnic; will be explored through the conception of the individual pieces. Participants are invited to engage with these themes and develop their own expressions through collage art.
