Adult Workshop: Cyanotypes

Cold weather can’t keep us from enjoying the beauty of nature!

Learn how to create cyanotype prints in this workshop inspired by Ralph Eugene Meatyard’s monochromatic photographs of Kentucky’s Red River Gorge, currently on view in our special exhibition The Unforeseen Wilderness. Using dried florals and photo negatives, participants will make their own cyanotypes on fabric (from the warmth of The Speed’s studio classrooms!) as well as learn experimental methods to try at home.
