With great art, high-quality activities, and unique facilitation techniques, art museums are able to inspire students to share their thoughts and feelings. Participants in this workshop will experience ways to encourage thoughtful speaking, listening, writing, and connecting with others through meaningful art-based activities and games.

This workshop will focus on the social-emotional learning (SEL) skills of social communication and self-awareness, offering ways to bring these museum techniques back to the classroom. Participants will receive hands-on materials, and two ready-to-use lessons that can be adapted to classroom and content needs.
