Thanks to a generous grant from the Art Bridges Foundation’s Access for All program, general admission for 1st Thursday evenings at the Speed is now FREE!
1st Thursday are slower and art-focused nights once a month that include access to view our galleries from 5 pm to 8 pm. Programming on these nights might include gallery talks, lectures, costume figure drawing, cinema programs, and other community events. *Cinema screenings and special exhibitions may have a separate cost.
Important Infinity Room information: On 1st Thursday evenings, if you’d like to experience the Infinity Room, be sure to arrive early in the evening, as spots are timed and limited and will be issued at the door. We anticipate all spots will be filled.
Cinema 1st Thursday: Roger Beebe: Expanded Cinema

Roger Beebe returns to the road with a program of 16mm multi-projector performances and will make his first stop in Louisville in more than 15 years. Roger Beebe is a filmmaker whose work since 2006 consists primarily of multiple-projector performances and essayistic videos that explore the world of found images and the "found" landscapes of late capitalism.
